The Mayor of Axminster, Cllr Jill Farrow, was unanimously elected to serve another year on Monday night.

Cllr Farrow was re-elected as mayor and chair of the council for another 12-month term at the annual meeting of the town council.

Cllr Farrow said she was honoured to take on this role again and wished to thank her fellow councillors and the wider community for their support, kindness and commitment to Axminster's wellbeing and future prosperity.

Cllr Andrea Sedgewick was also re-elected as deputy mayor and vice-chair, again by a unanimous vote of fellow councillors.
