Make your event a part of Axminster's Cherry Fayre

An appeal has gone out to Axminster organisations who are planning events in June to make them part of then annual Cherry Fayre, organised ny Light Up Axminster.

The fair will be running between Thursday, June 23 and Friday, July 1. Events already lined up include the launch of the Junior Park Run, Axminster Carnival's Vehicle Show, Axminster's Big Dinner and lunchtime concerts in The Minster.

The week-long celebration of Axminster's Market Charter gets underway with the traditional 'Raising of the Glove' ceremony by Lord of The Manor Jim Rowe on The Minster Green.
