Axminster and Lyme Cancer Support has launched a special promotional offer on its recipe book to celebrate Mother's Day.

The charity is offering copies of its book 'Recipes with Love', along with a daffodil card and free postage for £10, which is usually the cover price of the book alone.

'Recipes with Love' is the first community cookbook published by Axminster and Lyme Cancer Support. It draws together a collection of the most-loved recipes from chefs, popular restaurants and supporters of the charity.

Some of those contributing include Tierra Kitchen, The Monmouth Pantry and The Galley Café of Lyme Regis, amongst many others.

Mary Kahn, founder of the charity, said: "The book has been a great success since we launched it and this is an ideal way to give as a gift for Mother's Day.

"Every recipe was tried and tested, with our kitchens resembling the Bake Off tent at times.

"As a charity, our aim is to support anyone affected by any cancer, in our area. The profits from the sale of the book help to continue our needed work and services in the Axminster and Lyme areas."

The book is available now and can be purchased via the charity's online shop. It is also available to buy in stores across the local area.

Axminster and Lyme Cancer Support aims to provide support for anyone living with and beyond cancer in the community, including relatives and carers, regardless of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.

The charity provides information, educational literature and holds meetings and workshops around a variety of issues surrounding a cancer diagnosis or specific cancers.

If anyone should wish to contact the charity for support or information, either email [email protected], use the contact form on the website axminsterandlymecancersupport.co.uk or call 07512 279 663.
