Multi-vehicle traffic accident between Honiton and Axminster

The A35 between Axminster and Honiton has re-opened following a serious accident and police are at the scene controlling the traffic.
The accident, which was reported to involve six vehicles, occurred near Starbucks between the Shute turn off and the Umborne turn off.
The road was blocked after the crash. It has now been cleared but traffic is expected to be slow moving for some time.
A statement from Colyton Fire Station said: The A35 near Starbucks will be a bit slow for a while due to an accident involving multiple vehicles.
"Crews from Axminster and Colyton have dealt with the incident and hopefully traffic will be back to normal soon."
