Have you seen where the Millwey Rise fairies live?

Everyone believes in fairies at the bottom of the garden - and now there's proof in Millwey Rise.

For the past year and a half the residents of Millwey Avenue have been fascinated by the creation of a fairy garden, now named "Primrose Avenue - Land of the Fairies".

The fairy garden is being constructed by Natasha Davey and her two daughters - Rebecca (8) and Bella (7), both pupils of Axminster Primary Academy.

It started as a family project but during lockdown has helped to keep Rebecca and Bella interested and is attracting a great deal of attention on the Millwey housing estate.

Said Natasha: "I started it really for my two daughters but now local children and adults are getting involved and it's developing into a community project.

"People are more than welcome to come along and have a look and if they would like to donate any materials or plans that would be fine."

Natasha has constructed a very realistic Eifel Tower and is now working on a statue of Bella as additional points of interest.

The fairy garden is still a work in progress with a giant whole being dig to accommodate a seaside/pond attraction. When the front garden is complete, Natasha says she will probably turn her attention to her back garden where, no doubt, the Millwey pixies will find a home.
