Axminster & District Lions Club will once again be bringing Father Christmas to Axminster on his sleigh.

The Santa float will be travelling around the streets of Axminster throughout December to spread a little joy this festive season. But Father Christmas is looking for some extra helpers.

Volunteer collectors or drivers to tow the float (fuel expenses available) are needed to help with the float Monday to Thursday on the first three weeks of December, from 6pm to 9pm.

Routes will be confirmed and published in due course, but are dependent on enough volunteers coming forward.

A spokesperson for the Lions Club said: "The more volunteers we get to help us, the more happiness we can spread, and it will also help us fundraise so we can further help others in need in the New Year."
