Exciting young pianist Julian Trevelyan opens Seaton Music's 73rd season on Thursday 19th October. Julian is a British pianist and performs regularly throughout Europe and the UK. In the current season he has performed in London, Cambridge, Munich, Milan, Paris and Vienna. His recording of Mozart's piano concertos 23 and 24 with ORF Radio Symphonieorchester Wien, directed by Christian Zacharias was released by Alpha Classics in October 2022.

Over the past five years, Julian has studied piano with Rena Shereshevskaya at the Ėcole Normale de Musique in Paris. He is composer and conductor with Ensemble Dynamique, sings with an a capella group, and is renowned as a chamber musician on piano, violin and viola.

It is a privilege indeed to welcome Julian to Seaton where he will play Bach's Aria variata alla maniera Italiana, Prokofiev's Sonata No 6 Op 82 and Schumann's Fantasie Op 17. The doors open at the Gateway Theatre at 7pm and the concert begins at 7.30pm. The bar will be open before the concert and during the interval.

We look forward to welcoming our first concert audience of the 73rd season!
