Terri Bowell and Michelle Scott, owners of the new Total Transformations beauty clinic in Lyme Street, Axminster, enjoyed a packed launch day last weekend.

Customers were queueing out the door as the business partners offered goody bags, bubbly and cupcakes to more than 50 visitors.

Total Transformations is a new aesthetics and beauty business combining pampering treats such as manicures, pedicures facials, tanning and men's haircuts with more specialist aesthetics, like high frequency infra-red facials, lip fillers and anti-wrinkle injections.

Aesthetics is a fast growing section of the personal beauty industry and the new business has already received huge interest.

Aesthetics could be anti-wrinkle injections, micro needling, chemical peel facials and dermal filler. A range of non-surgical facelifts can deliver similar results to plastic surgery and vitamin injections can support the immune system, help with hay fever and even fat loss.

All of the treatments are medically prescribed and free 15-minute consultations are available to make sure the treatment is right for you.

Both Terri and Michelle live in the Axminster area and have a combined experience of more than 30 years in the beauty industry.

After deciding to go into business together, they transferred their premises at Clare House in Lyme Street within five weeks, combining their knowledge and training with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, with free tea, coffee or bubbly available for clients.

All are welcome regardless of age or gender. Total Transformations has something for everyone – whether it is ear piercing for a youth or a non-surgical facelift for someone older.

Total Transformations is currently open Monday to Saturday from 9.30am, closing at 3pm on Mondays, 5pm Tuesday to Thursday, 7pm Friday and 1pm Saturdays.
