Axminster Royal British Legion branch wins national award for work in the community

The Axminster branch of the Royal British Legion has been recognised as the best small Legion branch in the country for 2022/23.

Not only did the branch recieve the Devon county award, The Crediton Cup, but is has also picked up the national Lister Cup for its involvement in the community.

The branch's county conference representative and vice-chairman, CPO Jo Ashkettle, recently received the award at the Royal British Legion national conference held in Torquay.

The branch has now received its new 100 year pennant, with the Lister Cup award emblazoned on its standard.
