Axminster Repair Café's team of volunteers are back in June to offer a wide range of repair skills to local residents with broken household items - helping reduce unnecessary waste from going to landfill and saving people buying new.

Available from 10am to 1pm this coming Saturday (June 3) in Axminster Guildhall, the repairers will be ready for the challenge of getting appliances, toys, clothes, gardening tools and more back into a usable condition.

Visitors are asked to register their item at the reception desk inside the Guildhall on arrival and will then be put in the queue for the next available repairer.

While waiting to see a repairer, visitors are welcome to enjoy a hot or cold drink, homemade cakes, biscuits, and, if available, bacon rolls - all provided by volunteers.
