Axminster Property, which is currently renovating the town's flagship Trinity House building, has also taken on a major project in neighbouring Colyton.

The derelict Old Town Mill in the centre of Colyton is being given a new lease of life with eight business units currently under development.

Axminster Property is managing the project on behalf of a pension fund client and the project will see the historic building in Rosemary Lane converted into eight units available from early 2021.

It is hoped the project will revitalise this area of the town, with much interest already being shown in all eight units, measuring 900 to 2,200 square feet.

Axminster Property will be working with favoured contractors NDM Collins to transform the Old Town Mill in Colyton into a "very special and central place to work in the Axe Valley".

The company has already been praised for its sensitive and high-quality renovations at Trinity House, converting the former department store into separate commercial units.

Women's clothing store Lou La Belle is already trading in the building, with The Crafty Hobbit due to open its new store this week and the popular Community Waffle House taking over the entire first floor in November.
