Axminster Musical Theatre casts principals for 'Evita' in November

Axminster Musical Theatre has cast its principal roles for its return to the local stage.

The former operatic society will be performa the award-winning 'Evita' at the Guildhall from November 16 to 20.

The leading role of Evita will be played by Silvey Webber, who has played many leading parts for local societies in recent times.

Playing opposite her as Juan Peron will be Mike Hamilton, Paul Matterface will play Che Guevara, Dan Wilde as Magaldi and Lauren Good as Mistress.

The show will be directed by Kelly Apps, who received rave review when she took the part of Evita with Lyme Regis Musical Theatre in 2015.

Those taking the lead roles are already rehearsing for the production, following the COVID guidance carefully, and anyone who would like to join the ensemble or help out at the show should email [email protected]
