Axminster Co-op stores donate more than £7,000 to good causes



The two Co-op stores in Axminster have donated more than £7,000 to three local good causes.
The latest handout in the Co-op's Local Community Fund saw cheques totalling £7,023.49 presented by Co-op Member Pioneer for Lyme Regis and Axminster, Jacqueline Hughes.
Donations included £2,921.06 for Axminster-based charity Nourish, which provide free nutritional meals and hosts community lunches for those in need.
Seaton-based Rupert's Pre-School received a donation of £2,022.30 and East Devon Birth, Baby & Beyond received £2,080.13.
Co-op's Local Community Fund sees a percentage donated to selected charities and good causes every time Co-op members buy selected branded products and services.
