Axminster cake and book sale raises funds for Ukraine

The Pippins Community Centre and No Toy Left Behind pre-loved toy shop in Axminster raised just over £55 at for Save the Children's Ukrainian appeal at a cake and book sale on Monday.

One of the organisers commented: "Lots of families joined us after school. It was lovely to see the centre so busy!

"Thank you to everyone who came to buy books and cakes and to all our volunteers and Axminster Home Educators who baked cakes."
