A35 closed between Shute and Honiton after serious accident

The A35 remains closed between Shute and Honiton following a serious accident involving a lorry and motorcycle.
Police have confirmed that the motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in the accident and has been taken to hospital.
Police were called to the incident on a stretch of the main road, near Wilmington, at 1.15pm.
The road remains closed between Tower Road, in Honiton, and Old Taunton Road, in Shute.
