Get your nominations in for Axminster's Citizen of the Year

Nominations for Axminster's Citizen of the Year are now being accepted.
If you know someone you think is deserving of the annual Robin Cross Award for Citizen of the Year, you can nominate them by simply submitting their name and details to Axminster Town Council by Monday, December 6.
The winner will received an £100 cash prize, sponsored for the second year running by Axminster Nub News, to donate to the charity of their choice.
The Robin Cross Award was launched in 2016 in memory of the well-known community champion.
Robin was site manager at Axe Valley Community College and spent more than a quarter of a century with the Special Constabulary, attaining the rank of special inspector.
He was affectionately known as 'The Sheriff of Axminster'.
Nominations for this year's award should be sent to Axminster Town Council by Monday, December 6 by emailing [email protected] or
by post to Axminster Town Council, The Guildhall, West Street, Axminster, EX13 5NX. Councillors will choose the winner and the prize will be awarded at the January meeting of the town council. Entries should include the name of the nominee, activities for which the nomination is being made, and why you think your nominee is deserving of this award.
