Four fire crews were called after the alarm was raised at a care home in Axminster.

Axminster, Lyme Regis and Charmouth fire engines, and an aerial ladder platform from Yeovil were called to the care home at about 7am this morning (Sunday).

The cause of the fire was found to be a faulty LED light fitting, which was quickly dealt with by the Axminster crew.
