The incident took place on Trinity Hill Road between the A35 and the junction with Woodhouse Lane

Trinity Hill Road was blocked this morning after a car reportedly collided with a horse.

The collision took place between the A35 and the junction with Woodhouse Lane.

Devon & Cornwall Police said only minor injuries were sustained and have given no further details on the incident.

The road is now open again.
