We are excited to announce that we are looking for a highly motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic individual that enjoys practical work to join our team.

As a trainee carpet fitter, you will have an excellent opportunity to learn a highly sort after trade with our extremely experienced team of carpet fitters.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic and has good attention to detail, this work is ideally suited to an individual that likes working with their hands and enjoys physical work.

In addition to the installation of carpet/hard flooring you will be trained in the skill of planning and estimating work so a good head for numbers would be beneficial.

Driving licence is preferred. You need to be smart and presentable as you will be working in customers' homes. Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

The role of a fitter varies from day-to-day although some of the tasks you will be expected to assist with and become competent in are:
• Preparing the floor ready for installation
• Installing underlay and Gripper Rods
• Fitting Carpet
• Installing Vinyl, Amtico and Wood Flooring including subfloor preparation.
• Planning and estimating
