Tickets have gone on sale for this year's Devon County Show – which is taking place at the beginning of July.

The show has been moved from its usual May slot this year, and will start on Friday, July 2 and close on Sunday, July 4. This year will be the 125th time the show has been held.

The show's organisers say tickets are 'literally flying out of the door', and since numbers will have to be restricted this year, they are advising people to book as soon as possible.

They say the show will operate under the Government guidelines for staging outdoor events, and measures to minimise the risk of Covid-19 will be in place, but most of the regular features will still go ahead.

One new element this year will be the world's longest ever stretch of knitted bunting, which will be in the Crafts and Gardens Pavilion. This will comprise 32,000 flags and be eight kilometres long.

For track and trace purposes, tickets are available only through the Devon County Show website.
