Motorcyclist taken to hospital after A35 crash

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries yesterday evening, after colliding with a tractor on the A35 near Honiton.

The incident occurred at approximately 5.44pm at Tower Cross on the A35, affecting traffic between Axminster and Honiton.

The male rider of the motorcycle was taken to the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital with serious injuries which are not life threatening, and his next of kin have been informed.

The road was closed whilst a full scene examination was conducted.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team attended and are now appealing for witnesses, those who may have seen the collision, or either vehicle prior to the collision, or who may have dash camera footage, to contact police, quoting log number 660 of 16/06/20.
