Axminster Photography Group held its first exhibition for two years at The Minster parish church between November 18 and 20.

The exhibition featured photographs taken by members during 2020 and 2021 reflecting either conditions that were imposed by the lockdown period or subjects of their choice whilst confined by the national conditions relevant to those two years.

During the three days in excess of 500 people visited and all the feedback was most complimentary.

On each day the visitors were invited to select and vote for one photograph of their choice that they felt was the 'Best on Show'.

On day one the most popular image was "Light at the End of the Tunnel" by Clive Bareham, on the second "The Calf Pens at Barrington Court" taken by Rachael Whitbread, and on the final Saturday "Frosty Morning" by Terry Chown.

Ian Crawford, chairman of Axminster Photography Group, said: "It was one of our most outstanding events and sincere thanks fo to the Reverend Clive Sedgewick and the team at The Minster for their support of the exhibition."
