'Jurassic Coaster' Sunday service reinstated

The 'Jurassic Coaster' bus which runs between Lyme Regis, Axminster and Weymouth has started running on a Sunday again.

First's X51 and X53 services have been reinstated on Sundays after being pulled during the coronavirus pandemic.

Additional journeys on Saturday have also been added to the new timetable, which can be found at www.firstgroup.com/wessex-dorset-south-somerset/news-and-service-updates/coronavirus-covid19-service-information

Passengers are being asked to adhere to special measures to protect themselves and drivers from COVID-19, including the follows:

- Wear a mask or face covering

- Avoid cash and pay by contactless where possible

- Sit away from others in available seats

- Keep the windows open for ventilation

- Wash your hands often – before and after you travel

- Avoid eating and drinking on board

- Press bell to stop and remain seated until the bus has stopped

- Cough or sneeze into a tissue or the inside of your arm and take litter with you
